2010年 マカオ、香港を巡るアジアツアーを行う。
2011年 world's end girlfriend主催、Virgin Babylon Recordsより、4th "88" をリリース。
2012年 台湾ツアー、ロシアツアーをそれぞれ行う。world's end girlfriend & Another Alchemy にマニピュレーターとして参加。Virgin Babylon Recordsより、5th "Re:" をリリース。

Influenced by progressive rock, kashiwa daisuke started composing music as a student.
In 2004, the artist started his solo activities as kashiwa daisuke and toured Germany in 2005.
2006 saw the release of his first album, “april.#02” by Germany’s onpa label, followed by his remix album, “april.#07” in 2007 with guest remixers such as olive oil, and Takeshi Nishimoto (I’m not a Gun). In August of that year, kashiwa released his second album “program music I” from noble labels. September 2008, kashiwa performed at the outdoor festival, Sense of Wonder.
The sounds of kashiwa daisuke were introduced in RADIO SAKAMOTO, a radio program by Ryuichi Sakamoto as well as in the sunaokuwahara “2006 Autumn/ Winter Collection”, and his music continues to gather news in a range of other areas including TV programs and commercials.
In addition to his own musical activities, the artist provides music to a variety of media and also works as an author, remixer, and mastering engineer.

Because suddenly your brain freezes in search of a tag or description and you just cant find it. “Circles” is the first full lenght album for Avantroots this Japanese musician launches, composing in the same way those pioneers did back at the time…With devotion as the entrance, constance as the main course and risk for dessert just like high culinary art in a degustation menu:It starts tickling gently yours ears with Fake Meltdown all the way until Ivory, to kick like a sleep twitch with Soulwind. But it doesnt finish here, since this last one hands it over to the sounds of Neo Terra which helps us with our daydreaming and keeps going until the end like ‘instruments invented.Knowing that Electronic music is something big, “Circles” should be heard without hesitation, just as its creator intended. This is not an album to put as a background, it is an experience that requires one hour of contemplation in order to delight in every bite. It is the work of someone who trains alone… A different one. Hirotaka only sounds like Hirotaka.

Charles Mingus made his first appearance at the Montreux Jazz Festival on July 25, 1975, after he had completed recording the two land mark albums Changes One and Changes Two. It seemed natural enough that he should take the core that defined these albums to Montreux. And so we have Don Pullen on piano, Jack Walrath on trumpet, George Adams on tenor saxophone, flute and vocals, and Dannie Richmond on drums. Out of the ambit were Jackie Paris and Marcus Belgrave. No matter. What transpires is a concert that is at once enthralling and entertaining, and full of raw emotion.

The band kicks off with "Devil Blues" on which George Adams gets a chance to holler the blues in his dry, raspy, hoary voice. That's a fine start and the band gets into the groove playing with intensity, never letting a moment slip. And when it comes to "Sue's Changes" they extend the tune to 25 minutes, casting, shaping, moulding, and giving it a depth of virtuosity through the several moods it channels. Time serves to forge another masterpiece on the anvil of cogent improvisation.

There is more great music when Gerry Mulligan and Benny Bailey come in for the last two songs. Mulligan defines the art of the baritone saxophone. There he is charting his course with a rippling stream of ideas and exchanging fours with Mingus. And even as that quickens the pulse (of the viewer), there is no denying Bailey. His solos are exemplary, burning with a quiet fire, giving the music a simmering heat.

藤井郷子は評論家や音楽ファンに今日最も独創的なジャズミュージシャンのひとりだと評価されている。たくさんのユニットでグローバルに活躍する彼女は、音 楽もその国際的な活動同様あらゆるジャンルに広がっている。ジャズ、現代音楽、ロック、ワールドミュージックや日本民謡等を革新的にブレンドし即座に彼女 の音楽だとわかるような独自の世界を創り出す。彼女の曲は、民謡のシンプルなメロディー、ジャズの洗練されたハーモニー、ロックの力強いリズム、交響曲の ような複雑なフォームを統合させる。時に突然の変化に満ちているが、その過激さは全体のコンセプトとして常に意味を持っている。インプロバイザーとしても 幅が広く、テクニシャンでもある。彼女のソロは、爆発的なフリージャズのエネルギーと繊細なメロディー、そして多彩な音色と質感が混合されている。 1996年以降リーダーとして50枚以上のCDをリリースする驚異的な能力を見せている。どのユニットのCDでも彼女は新しい事を試みる。 1958年10月9日、東京生まれ、幼稚園を中退したかわりに4才よりクラシックピアノを始める。クラシックピアノを宅孝二氏、作曲を南弘明氏、三枝成章 氏、指揮を金子登氏に師事。20歳で即興音楽への興味からジャズに転向。楽器という道具を介在しない、声を出す、物をたたいて音を出す（床、壁、手、、、 などなど）即興の音楽集団を結成。東京都内の公園、劇団の稽古場等で神出鬼没に演奏する。チリ紙交換、牛丼の吉野屋等でアルバイトをしながら、自己の音楽 表現について模索をする。 22才、それ以前よりその演奏、音楽を敬愛していた板橋文夫氏にジャズピアノを師事。再びピアノという楽器に戻る。東京でキャバレーのハウスピアニストと して演奏で仕事を始める。1985年から87年まで米国ボストンのバークリー音楽大学で、ハーブ・ポメロイやビル・ピアス等に師事、優等賞で卒業。卒業後 6年間、日本に戻り様々な場での演奏活動を行った後、再渡米。ボストンのニューイングランド音楽院に入学。ジョージ・ラッセル、セシル・マクビーや彼女の デビューCD Something About Water (Libra, 1996)で共演したポール・ブレイに師事。卒業後はニューヨークに転居し、音楽活動を開始。
